Jarrod Kersey is vice president of quality and government affairs at Simmons Pet Food. He began his career as a trade association representative managing regulatory and trade for cottonseed companies, then served as a regulatory manager with Procter & Gamble for the Iams and Eukanuba brands. While at Iams, Kersey provided marketing and trade support in North America, and later moved to Geneva, Switzerland, to support the European business. After returning to the U.S., Kersey joined the American Feed Industry Association as director of state legislative affairs. He joined Mars in 2010 and had the opportunity to develop new technical skills with the construction of a kennel/cattery and the acquisition of Iams. In 2016, Kersey accepted a position with Simmons Pet Food. He holds a bachelor of science in agriculture, master of science and Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas, and a master of public administration from the University of Dayton.
