Experience:

Francesca Susca, DVM, Ph.D., serves as global pet product manager for Lallemand Animal Nutrition. She earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from University of Milan and a doctorate in animal feed and food safety. The focus of her studies was the evaluation of the effects of dietary supplementation of nutrients on metabolism and performance of dairy ruminants, which she also investigated during an internship at University of California, Davis. Since then, Susca’s professional career has been entirely dedicated to pets, including 10 years at Nestlé Purina managing several categories and roles within the areas of product development, regulatory and compliance in the pet care and pet food businesses. She joined Lallemand in 2017 to develop and manage the full portfolio of natural microbial solutions dedicated to pet health and well-being, aligning with the commitment of the company: the optimization of animal health and well-being through specifically selected natural microbial solutions.
