Presentation Description:

Kibble diameter and its effect on canine palatability. New palatability studies sought to evaluate and understand the potential effect that dog food kibble size and diameter might have in dogs of different sizes and breeds. Disproving the initial hypothesis that all dogs would prefer smaller kibble – and dispelling myths that small dogs especially favor small kibble – the data showed that all three sizes of dogs preferred the larger kibble. Figge presents additional analytical data to show why.

Experience:

Figge has been with AFB International for more than 17 years, working with customers to improve the palatability of their dog and cat diets. He holds a master of business administration degree and has presented at numerous Petfood Forum events, the Brazil Animal Nutrition Congress and Argentina Animal Nutrition Congress.
