Dave Carney received his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Clemson University. He has worked in electronics, design engineering and robotics manufacturing industries in engineering, project and program management and operations. Carney joined Bühler in 2013 as a project director, leading more than 25 conveyor dryer design and manufacture projects over the next four years for pet food, snack food, cereal and industrial applications. In 2017, he began focused his work on the pet food industry, leading the drying applications in the market segment for Bühler in North America. Since then, Carney’s responsibilities have expanded to include the entire production process for both pet food and aquafeed. He actively supports his customers by providing customized solutions with a special focus on process optimization, food safety and sustainability.
