Purina has launched a quest to be more open and show the passion that every company associate has for the work they do for pets, including their own. Henke-Cilenti explains why his company welcomes consumer demands for transparency and shares some of the ways the company is striving to be more transparent.

Henke-Cilenti began working at Nestlé Purina PetCare in 2002 as the senior European brand manager for dog and cat snacks and treats. Between then and becoming director of marketing for the Purina brand, he has been a European category manager, the global marketing director for premium foods, the Friskies senior brand manager, the regional marketing director for Mid North Europe and the specialist business unit director for Germany and Central Region. Henke-Cilenti holds a master of business administration from the University of Leeds.
